Acer platanoides - Norway Maple

Native to eastern and central Europe, Acer platanoides is a very large and fast growing, deciduous maple. It has yellow spring flowers and broad green leaves which turn yellow in autumn. Grows well in almost all soils, tolerating air pollution and drought.

There are many cultivars of the Norway maple selected for crown shape, leaf colour and autumn colour.
