Acer platanoides Columnare - Norway Maple Columnare

Acer platanoides Columnare is a cultivar of the Norway maple selected for its upright, compact crown. Like the species, clusters of small yellow flowers bloom on bare stems followed by dense green foliage, winged fruit and yellow autumn colour. Generally grown as a standard tree, this is a perfect street tree in narrow, urban spaces. Grows on almost all soils, tolerating air pollution, drought and exposure.
