Malus floribunda - Japanese Crab apple
Commonly known as the Japanese crab, Malus floribunda is a round headed deciduous tree. It has narrow, glossy green leaves on arching branches. During spring, an abundance of light pink flowers blooms slowly turning white though the season. This is followed by yellow crab apples which have a red blush in autumn. Best grown in full sun or partial shade, in fertile, well-draining soil.
