Betula nigra Heritage - Heritage River Birch

Betula nigra Heritage is an American cultivar of River birch selected for its uniformity and vigour. Like the species, this is a great tree for wet areas and has beautiful peeling orange bark. The leaves are ovate, with a serrated margin. Along with attractive yellow catkins, the leaves emerge a vibrant lime green and darken as the season progresses. The autumn colour is also good with leaves turning buttery yellow.
