Alnus incana Laciniata - Grey Alder
Alnus incana Laciniata is a cultivar of the grey alder. It is a small tree, growing to a maximum height of around 12 metres and has an ovoid, open crown. Its leaves are deeply dissected and a soft green colour turning yellow in autumn. It is a popular choice for more problematic sites as it grows well in almost all soils. It is also tolerant to air pollution, drought, flooding, winds and salt spray.
