Prunus subhirtella Autumnalis Rosea - Higan Cherry

Prunus subhirtella Autumnalis Rosea is a small, deciduous tree with stunning blossom and spreading habit. Its ovate leaves first emerge green before turning golden yellow in autumn. Semi-double flowers bloom in mild weather from late autumn to early spring creating a beautiful seasonal display of rosy pink blossom. The flowers are followed by small fruits which are extremely popular with birds.

Ideal for smaller spaces, the winter flowering cherry grows to a maximum height of around 4 metres and will tolerate most free draining soils.
