Parrotia persica Vanessa - Vanessa Persian Ironwood

Parrotia persica Vanessa is a cultivar of the Persian Ironwood, selected for its upright crown and straight trunk. Leaves are dark green and glossy later turn beautiful shades of red and purple in autumn. Small red flowers bloom in early spring and are followed by spiked fruits in autumn.

Best grown in full sun on well drained, fertile soil.
