Magnolia stellata Royal Star - Star Magnolia

Usually grown as a large shrub, Magnolia stellata Royal Star is a versatile plant, growing to a maximum height of approximately 6 metres high. Leaves are a glossy green turning golden yellow in autumn. Flower buds arrive before winter and slowly open to beautiful white, star-shaped flowers. This is a reliable tree as flowers bloom even on young trees. Best grown in a sheltered location in full sun or partial shade. Prefers fertile, well-drained soil.
