Cupressus leylandii - Cypress

Cupressus leylandii is a dense, evergreen plant that has a columnar habit. It is one of the fastest growing conifers and provides fantastic screening or hedging. Scale-like, soft leaves are paired with small ball-shaped cones, often unnoticed next to its thick foliage. Although this tree can reach great heights, with regular pruning, keeping this tree at a preferred size is very achievable. Grows best in full sun or partial shade, in almost all soils.
