Commonly known as the yellow buckeye, Aseculus flava is native to the southern united states. This is a large, deciduous tree with a spreading crown and green leaves dividing into 5-7 leaflets. Creamy yellow upright flowers emerge in late spring and are followed by smooth green fruits and yellow autumn colour.
