Acer saccharum - Sugar Maple
Commonly known as the sugar maple, Acer saccharum is a large tree native to Canada. It grows to a maximum height of around 20 metres and has dull green leaves that change to a fiery red in autumn. It will grow in almost all soils and is tolerant to air pollution and drought.
