Acer rubrum - Red Maple

Native to Eastern and Central America, Acer rubrum is a round headed tree, growing to a maximum height of 30 metres. Tiny red flowers bloom before dark green leaves appears in spring, later turning a fiery red in Autumn. Red maple is generally pest free and disease free, making it low maintenance. Best grown on acid soils in full sun or partial shade.
