Commonly known as the Fernleaf Fullmoon Maple, Acer japonicum Acontifolium is an unusual variety of Japanese maple with large, deeply dissected leaves. Best grown in a moist, well drained, sheltered location, it forms a small multistem tree with stunning architectural form when mature.

Green summer foliage turns burnt orange in autumn and is paired with winged seeds.
