Acer platanoides Crimson sentry is a cultivar of the Norway maple selected for its upright form and red purple leaves. Clusters of small yellow flowers bloom on bare stems followed by dense purple red foliage, winged fruit and bright red autumn colour. Grows on almost all soils, tolerating drought and exposure.
