Acer campestre Elsrijk - Field Maple

Very similar to the species, this Dutch cultivar is marginally smaller and has a slightly more dense oval shaped crown. The compact regular head makes it very suitable for both avenue and street tree planting. Will grow in almost all soils and tolerates hard paving, drought and air pollution. Winged fruits and butter yellow autumn colour give great seasonal interest.
