Prunus serrulata Royal Burgundy - Royal Burgundy Flowering Cherry

Prunus serrulata Royal Burgundy is a beautiful cherry tree, growing to approximately 12 metres tall. It has an upright, narrow form first, becoming more spreading with age. Its leaves first emerge copper, turning reddish black and then eventually orange and red in autumn. The blossom is made of clusters of double, pink flowers which appear with or before the leaves in mid spring.

Best grown in full sun on almost all free draining soils.
