Ginkgo biloba Autumn Gold - Autumn gold Maidenhair

Ginkgo biloba Autumn Gold is an American selection of maidenhair with a uniformed, narrow crown. The main trunk grows extremely straight and branches grow in an open pattern. The fan shaped leaves are deep green and turn golden yellow in autumn. ‘Autumn gold’ is a male selection and therefore does not produce fruit, making it a perfect tree for avenues and as a street tree. Best grown in full sun, on moist, well-drained soil.
