Albizia julibrissin - Persian silk tree

Albizia julibrissin, also known as the Persian silk tree, has a half open crown and a vase life form. A valuable plant for insects, it blooms beautiful fluffy, rose-pink flowers in summer. Feather like leaves are dark green and drop in early autumn. It is suitable for dry, well-drained soil and although it can withstand winds, prefers a sheltered location with full sun.
