Zelkova carpinifolia - Caucasian Elm
Zelkova carpinifolia is a beautiful parkland tree growing over 35m in height and 8m in width. Originally from Eastern Turkey and northern Iran, it’s upright habit and unusual low branching form increase its appeal. The serrated, oval leaf is a lovely green tone in summer, turning golden yellow in autumn. The flowers and fruits are mainly insignificant and are green in colour often appearing just after the foliage.
