Wisteria sinensis Amethyst is a vigorous climber, twisting anti clockwise. This deciduous climber will produce violet, highly fragrant flowers in late spring / early summer. This is closely flowered by bronze-coloured foliage, each having approximately 11 leaflets. Wisteria sinensis Amethyst is a great allround climber, thriving in moist but well drained soil. Ideally planted close to a walkway or seating area to ensure the fragrant flowers are appreciated.
