Pyrus communis Conference - Conference Pear
Pyrus communis Conference is a cultivar of the common pear. It is a dessert pear with green fruits which arrive in autumn. Being self fertile, it can set fruit without being pollinated by another tree, making it a great choice when planting a single specimen. White flowers bloom in early spring and are followed by glossy green leaves which turn yellow in autumn.
Best grown in a sheltered location with full sun on most free draining soil.
