Pinus mugo Laurin - Dwarf Mountain Pine
Pinus mugo Laurin is a small, slow growing shrub with a maximum height of approximately 1 metre, originating from Germany in 1928. Fresh needles first emerge a bright green, slowly darkening as they mature. Buds and cones are produced in late summer and have been traditionally used to make natural sweet syrups. Like all Pinus mugo types, this is an extremely tolerant plant, growing well in almost all free draining soils. Does best in full sun.
