Phillyrea latifolia - Mock Privet

Phillyrea latifolia is a beautiful small evergreen tree which is closely related to the olive. It has small, glossy, dark green leaves with white insignificant flowers. When left to grow, it forms an irregular cloud like crown. Responds well to pruning and can be shaped into both hedging and topiary. Will tolerate most soils and coastal exposure, grows best in full sun.
