Malus domestica Jakob Lebel is a variety of apple, first cultivated in France in the 1820s. Green apples are produced in autumn and have red stripes. They are crisp with a juicy, acid taste; as the fruit matures, the taste sweetens. Does best in full sun on free draining soil.
