Liriodendron tulipifera Aureomarginata - Tulip Tree

Liriodendron tulipifera Aureomarginatum is a slower growing variety of Liriodendron with a narrow, later widening crown. Leaves have 4 lobes and emerge green with a yellow margin, later turning light green through summer. In autumn, leaves turn golden yellow. Tulip-shaped flowers bloom in June and are green with yellow or orange. Best grown in moist, fertile soil with full sun.
