Elaeagnus multiflora - Cherry Silverberry

Elaeagnus multiflora, also known as the Cherry silverberry, is a semi-evergreen shrub native to East Asia. It has oval, silvery-scaled leaves and small clusters of fragrant tubular flowers. Red fruits are soft and sweet, maturing through the summer; they are often used in desserts and preserves. Due to its smaller size, it is great for courtyard gardens or containers. Best grown in full sun or partial shade, in moist, well-drained soil.
