Crataegus prunifolia splendens - Frosted Thorn

Cratagus prunifolia splendens is an attractive, small tree which provides reliable spring and autumn interest. This clonal selection of cratagus prunifolia has a more uniform form than its parent. It has glossy, oval shaped, dark green leaves turning to stunning shades of copper and crimson in autumn. Clusters of small white flowers appear followed by shiny red berries. Ideal for smaller gardens, this cultivar will tolerate the toughest conditions, including costal, exposed and damp sites and grows well on almost all soils.
