Cornus kousa Chinensis - Chinese Dogwood

Cornus kousa chinensis is a small, deciduous tree growing to a maximum height of approximately 6 metres. It has oval, dark green leaves which turn yellow and red in autumn. Flowers with 4 cream, ovate bracts bloom in summer and are followed by red, strawberry like fruits. Best grown in full sun or partial shade in moist but well drained, acid soil.
