Amelanchier grandiflora Robin Hill - Snowy Mespilus Robin Hill

Amelanchier grandiflora Robin Hill is a dense, upright tree growing to a maximum of 10 metres. In springtime, clusters of delicate pink, later white, flowers bloom making the tree look snowy white. Yellow leaves emerge turning green through the spring, later red in autumn. Small edible berries, first red and turning black, arrive in autumn creating seasonal interest. This tree will grow in almost all soils but prefers a moist well drained location.
