Aesculus indica - Indian Horse Chestnut

Native to the Himalayas, Aesculus indica is a large, deciduous tree with a rounded, spreading crown. Glossy green leaves dividing into several oblong leaflets turn orange and yellow in autumn. Panicles of pink flushed flowers bloom through summer and are followed by green fruits in autumn. Tolerates most soils but prefers a moist, well drained location.
