Acer rufinerve - Grey Snake-bark Maple

Native to Japan, Acer rufinerve is a large shrub or small tree with a vase shaped crown. It has green foliage through spring and summer turning red and orange in Autumn. This is paired with white striped bark giving year-round interest. Best planted in a warm, sunny spot with moist but well drained soil.
