Air-pot container grown plants

All our containerised trees are grown using Air-Pots. This is a relatively new technique of containerising trees and large shrubs, which enables us to send you our wide choice of plants all year round. It consists of a reusable plastic 'sleeve' which surrounds the root system.

The benefits of the Air-pot container system are:

• Creates the best root system, no root spiralling
• Ease of handling - delivery to site in hessian and wire wrap - do not take off before planting
• No waste products delivery to site. Hessian and wire are fully bio-degradable
• Firm root ball - easy to anchor
• Most importantly improved fibrous roots give better on site establishment
• Trees actively grow (increasing in girth and height) in their first season on our nursery
• Ideal to allow greater flexibility on job sites for all year round planting. The removal of season constraints allows planting throughout the year
